the demon slowly walking towards david who kept walking backwards. his left eye kept glowing scarlet, as if it was reacting to the demons presence.

just stay away you freak. just stay the fuck away!

david was afraid, very afraid. then he felt his back and hit a wall. he couldn't go any further. the demon got closer, reaching out his hand towards david his scarlet eye. davids mind went crazy. his fear completely possessing him. suddenly some scarlet coloured energy floated behind david against the wall, being shaped like the bones of bat wings. shortly after the appearance of this, the scarlet light pressed so hard against the wall the it got cracked in an instant. david moved his head to the right and grabbed the demons face, smashing the back of the demons head against the floor. a scarlet glow came from his hand palm and the bat wing shaped bones stayed behind david as if part of his body.

i told you! to! STAY! THE! FUCK! AWAY!!!

the demon disappeared, leaving just some smoke from his blue flame. david got on hands and knee's, couching up blood, feeling his body taking a slightly new form. he screamed from the suffering he went trough with this change. he got sharper teeth, like a vampire. his body overall got a small growth in the muscles. the pain made him go crazy even further. he looked at the demon attacking miku, still being able to see clearly in the utter darkness. the scarlet glow from the bones floating behind him made him visible for others though. he slightly grinned.

YOU are next to be DESTROYED!

a fierce glow came from his left eye. but this time, it's more then just insanity.

after the Demon frozed Miku, it turn around and looked at David.

Looks like the other one wants to get burned.
Hnngh! Let me go you freak!
Shut up. I'll finish you after this guy.

The Demon left Miku on the floor and started walking towards David. David was in panic again, but insane too.
The Demon grinned. It was confident that soon David will be dead...

the scythe appeared in davids hand. in this stage, he looked like a demon himself. he stood ready, not to fight, but to completely destroy everything in his path. there was no control in his body. he was just drooling blood while softly laughing like a maniac.
the fiery demon appeared behind the other one, laying it's hand on the other one's shoulder.

demon: you know better then to take on someone who is losing itself to it's own power. right now, the first phase of making him ours is done. we are demons, not mindless fiends. lets return and make our report.

the demon left, knowing the other one would soon follow. all the glow disappeared and david dropped to the ground. his left eye stopped glowing and the glowing wing bones disappeared too, leaving just new bones growing from his back at extremely slow pace. his scythe was next to him on the ground. david felt as if he couldn't move. there has been to much pressure on his entire body. he looked in the direction of miku who was still stuck in ice.

girl... you were able to... create ice... out of... nowhere. m-m-maybe... you are also... able to... make it... dis-... -appear.

david tried to get up with all his strength. he slowly stood up, using the scythe to lean on. he felt weak but was able to keep himself standing.

The Asylum
“Oh, this thing? I would hardly consider this a weapon. But if you insist….”
The man pulls out a stun-stick and hands it over to the guard.
“Now, unless you have any more problems, we should head in now.”

Meanwhile, someplace far away….
The door automatically opens, allowing the colonel to walk through, and then promptly closes itself. The Colonel sits in the chair behind her desk. A compartment opens up on the ceiling and a computer screen lowers on a robotic arm, and proceeds to display information at a quick pace. The Colonel wanted to see for yourself just how far the plan was coming along…

~The Asylum~
"It is still something you can attack with. Now lets move on"
The man took the stun-stick and led the group to the door of the cell where Yui was located. Tamaki kept watch over the other person. she didn't trust him for one bit. Lee was abit worried about how Tamaki was acting. He placed his hand on Tamaki's shoulder.

Keep it up and you might scare your sister. You have already shown your opinion.
I understand.

Tamaki relaxed. Lee put his hands in his pocket. They still wondered what the man wanted from Yui.

"There is quite some tension here. Lets just go in."

The guard opened the door and allowed the others in. He would follow, also wanting to know what this was all about. Yui looked up, smiling like she would always do.

I get another visit? How nice of you all. But who is the new person?

The Library
Actually... I... I can create ice, but not melt it... So I'm bit stuck here.

Miku struggled and tried to break the ice, but she didn't move at all. Then Miku thought for a while by closing her eyes and tried to think solution. After 5 minutes, she looked at David.


We just have to brake the ice somehow... I don't want wait and have wet clothes.

I-I will see... what I... can do.

David slowly moved towards Miku, slowly regaining his strength. His regeneration was faster then it would for any human being. When he was standing next to Miku, he no longer needed to lean on his scythe. He was still weak, but wasn't completely exhausted. Then David lifted the scythe up and rammed the end of the pole onto the edge of the ice. He repeated this action until the ice started to crack at that point. He then move to another point to smash the ice. He did 2 other points after this. The scythe disappeared in a scarlet flash and David ducked to grab the ice around Miku's throat. He pulled it up with all his strength. The ice cracked open from of the smashed points. David then succeeded and pulling off the ice as one entire plate.

There. That should do. ... ...

Then David collapsed. He was exhausted. His body needed rest after all it had been going trough. He didn't know it himself, nor was it visible to anyone else, but there was something growing inside him. Something... Evil.

The Asylum
The man addressed Yui:
“Hello, Ms Kousaka. it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. If I may ask some questions of you? It will only take a minute or two.”
He then turned to the man who worked there:
“Is this the only room she ever presides in? Or does she sometimes go to a recreational area with the other inmates? I need to know exactly how she lives here so I can include it in my report, you see.”

Tamaki’s House
Samantha went over everything downstairs, and decided to call the Colonel for more specifics on what she should look for. Besides, she was starting to feel nervous about that strange thing she saw earlier. She activated her watch’s communication system.
“Corporal Primrose here. Requesting a more exact mission objective. What exactly should I look for?”
“Primrose, comrade, you should look especially for any information regarding their powers, and any personal information of their’s that could be useful later. If you can’t find anything on their powers, than try to find out where we could look for more people of special interest, or anything related to Alternate Existence Entities. You shouldn’t have to worry, we should be able to keep them busy a while more. And never forget, your success is for the good of all existence!”

The Colonel’s Office
The Colonel closed communication with her subordinate. She glanced over at her silent bodyguard in the corner. She would forever remember the day of its arrival, the day all her prayers were answered… They arrived shortly after her old life had been destroyed, just in time to rescue her… And all of Earth.

~~The Asylum~~
You're polite. But either way, you may just call me Yui. Sure you may ask me questions.

Yuo stood up, keeping her attention to the person she was talking to.

"Yui is allowed to go to other places some times. In all the years that she has been here, she never even hurt a fly. She is even allowed at some points to just visit others. She has calmed down people very well."
Yet is stuck like this because her way of thinking.
"Anything more you need for the report? And why would someone need a report of a person like Yui anyway?"

I am having that strong feeling of someone being in Tamaki's house right now.
same... but can't leave this lot here. If Tamaki cannot control herself at some point, someone is going to die here.

The Asylum
The man listened as Yui spoke.
“Tell me, Yui, do you like it here? Does this place suit your needs? Or do you find yourself desiring more? And, more to the point, what do you desire? Or do you find yourself content with the world? Also, what is it that makes you believe you belong here? Or do you think you don’t belong here? Sorry to overload you with questions, but it would be of great help to me if you answered these to start with.”

Tamaki’s House
Samantha’s search continued, checking every piece of information that could possibly be useful. She decided to check the trash outside to see if they had thrown anything away recently. As she opened the lid on the trash can, she scanned the inside of the can. Nothing looked like it was recently put in there except a newspaper from yesterday. The headline said something about a comet soon passing near Earth, and that it would be visible in the night sky passing behind the moon. That was mildly interesting, but nothing that could help her.

Yui has a questioning look on her face as she was trying to list all the questions that she was asked. Tamaki was twitching, seeing what the man was trying to do.

This can't end well.

The guard already knew that the man had chosen the wrong words to use in the questions. Yui smiled and started talking.

Would there be any better place then here? a nice bright room full of good, it is comfortable and the poltergeists like it too. And the most important part, there are friendly people here that wash me, feed me and help me with things. I belong here because there is so much light. There is no evil here. It must be that I was meant to be here in the name of Paradise. But I do not desire. Desire is a bad thing that causes hatred to rise. With the way you talk about desire, you will never be able to go to Paradise when you die.

I just wonder about one thing now...
What is it?
She talks about hell as if it is the most holy place ever. How would she be seeing heaven?

The Asylum
A look of annoyance flashed across the man’s face, but only for a moment. He soon replied with:
“Most interesting. You mentioned poltergeists earlier? Would you care to tell me more about them, as well as this ‘Paradise’ you speak of? I would also like to know why it was that you were originally brought here, if I may.”

Tamaki‘s House
Samantha was interrupted from her searching by her watch. She opened communications through it.
“Comrade Primrose, there has been a change of plan. Your search isn’t providing very much useful information, so take what you have gathered so far and return to base. Head back to the hotel you investigated earlier, a vehicle will be there to pick you up.”
Before she could even ask what this was all about, communication was closed. A little annoyed, Samantha headed outside towards the hotel, not knowing what to expect.

The guard stood next to Lee. He knew full well how most of this conversation would go.

"I can already guess how this is going to end. We all heard this before."
Thinking of it... Yes. If only Tamaki would stay calm now.

You want to know about poltergeists? They are funny and nice creatures that can float. They eat... Anything that is alive, but not just any random person. They only eat those who need to go to Paradise. And Paradise is the place where there is no darkness. No shadows. Only pleasure and happiness. You know, the scorching sun makes the place look all burnt and sad, but it is all to remove all the bad from there. It is pretty much the place everyone hoes to when they die. There is also some evil place some people call heaven. That is where the bad people go to. But i don't keep busy with that. My life is meant to help people to the good place.

The fiend inside Lee kept quite, but was having trouble with it. To him this was all very hilarious. Lee and the guard were already waiting for a response from the man.

The Asylum
“That is a very… unique perspective. Well, I suppose that is enough for now. I may return in the near future for more questions, but farewell for now.”
At this, the man turned his attention to the others.
“I should get going, but don’t be surprised if I must return. I shall report my findings to my superiors, they will decide what happens next. Unless any of you have any questions of your own, I will be off. Thank you all for your time. And before I forget, I want my stun device returned, if you don't mind.”

Samantha Primrose
When Samantha arrived in front of the hotel, there was a limousine waiting for her there. She met the eyes of the driver, exchanged a nod, and got in the back seat. The limousine drove off to the airport, where she was put into a private jet. She could tell from the direction it was flying that it was heading towards Central Administration, although she still didn’t know exactly why. She hoped it would finally mean there would be some action.

Bye bye strange sir.

There won't be a future. But what do you humans know, right?

"You get it back in the main hall. No earlier."
And nothing happens next as long as I will not permit it. I would even stop it by force if I have to. No-one would just be able to stop my shadows.

The guard escorted the others out of room of Yui. In the main hall the guard gave the man his stun device back and Tamaki her throwing knifes. Tamaki placed the knifes if her back pocket. It was getting quite late and Lee and Tamaki wanted to go to sleep. The fiend inside Lee knew... The next day... He would be free again.

The Asylum
The man exited the asylum, and entered the passenger seat of the van outside. He motioned to the driver to drive off, and the driver complied. When the vehicle was a fair distance away, the man took his radio from his coat and began speaking into it.
“From the information gathered, the target would seem un-recruit-able. She either is totally insane or the only sane person on Earth. I’m leaning towards to first one, but either way, she won’t be any use recruit wise. However, Prime Directive 3 would benefit greatly from her… abilities. If she was telling the truth, of course. The Tamaki woman, however, is violent and xenophobic. Perhaps best manipulated through more material means? The Lee character seemed reasonable, and with his delicate position, seems easily recruit-able. However, I was unable to find any information on the powers of the secondary targets. As is standard procedure, the entire thing was recorded for you to go over yourself. Heading back to base now.”
The voice that the man could never seem to get used to answered back:
“You have done well. The data will be analyzed and a plan of action will be formed. Have a nice day until we are finished, as the location of the MOTHER unit is being changed. The new location is much closer, allowing for a more quick and efficient administration.”
Was it time for the move already? He must of forgot to mark it on his calendar. It was supposed to be quite a sight, perhaps their will still be time later this night to catch it.

Samantha Primrose
The plane neared its target. Samantha looked out the window at the isolated group of buildings. Just outside of the near city, the group of buildings housed various scientific manufacturing systems, from computers to robotics. But V-Tech Industries was just a cover, more or less, for the facility that lay beneath it. And that is where she would be heading. The plane descended towards the landing strip behind the buildings, and landed swiftly and smoothly. Only a few seconds passed before Samantha was escorted out of the plane and onto a jeep, which drove her to the entrance.
She went inside herself, and went to the front desk. On the computer screen there in green letters was written where she was to meet the Colonel. She memorized it and entered the elevator, stating the voice password for the floor she was to go to. The elevator descended into the depths of Central Administration. Her heart skipped a beat as the doors opened, revealing a lower floor guard looking in. She didn’t get why they needed to wear the gasmasks. Although it isn’t entirely accurate to refer to them as gasmasks, since they supposedly did so much more than filter air. She went around the guard and walked down the crimson hall, took a right, and entered the third door on the left. This was where the meeting with the Colonel was to begin…

When the man left, Tamaki gave a sigh of relief.

Finally, he is gone.
"You sure get mad easily about this. Not surprising though."
I need some rest.
Yeah, lets go home Tamaki.

The two left the asylum and walked back home. When they got in, Tamaki noticed from the shadows that someone had been inside.

The bitch from yesterday... She was here again. The shadows show me a lot. She was looking for information about us. Well... About our powers. She didn't take anything.
Well great. We missed our opportunity to ask some questions. Can you also get a name out of the shadows?
Let me look. ... ... ... ... ... It's not much, but I got her first name. Some Samantha.
That's quite the common name. At least we still have everything.

Tamaki walked into the kitchen and came out with two bottles of beer. she threw one to Lee who didn't see it coming. The bottle hitting him in the face, Lee fell over.

EH! Are you!?-
I'm good, I'm good.

Lee got up and opened the bottle with his katana. Tamaki just used one of her throwing knifes. they drank the beer and then went to bed. Tamaki was asleep quickly. Lee stayed awake for some time. The fiend inside him was asleep too. It couldn't wait till the next day. An attack that was planned weeks ago was finally going to put to work. Lee fell asleep, not knowing what was going to happen.

Samantha Primrose
The door automatically slid open as she approached. Samantha went inside the room, taking in her surroundings. She had never been in this room before, but that was true for a lot of rooms. Central Administration was a large place. There was a few computer screens around the place displaying various information, but nothing that looked all too interesting. The Colonel interrupted the silence by initiating conversation.
“My dear friend Primrose, I suspect your trip was quick? You will be heading back there the same way, but we’ll get to that later. You have served well, so we will tell you more of the big picture of which you have seen only glimpses of.”
“Served well? But I didn’t find anything useful.”
“Worry not, we didn’t expect to find much. Usually when it comes to these kind of people, a more direct approach has better results. You will be sent back there to recruit them, and if they will not be recruited, than to capture them. And if you cannot capture them… Well, I think you get the idea. You will be supplied with equipment to aid in this, although you probably could complete it with your power alone. We still do not have a full idea of what their powers are, but we shall find out in time.
The Colonel paused for a moment to adjust her glasses.
“It is time we told you of Prime Directive 3. Not all of it, mind you, but as much as a standard sergeant should know.
“Don’t you mean corporal?”
“Ah, yes, I forgot to mention your slight rank change. Now where was I? As you should know, Prime Directives 1 and 2 would be in full force if it was not for amount of Alternate Existence Entities. Does this mean Directives 1 and 2 can’t be fulfilled because of this? Quite the contrary in fact, Directives 1 and 2 would stop their appearance altogether. In reality, we want the AEEs to appear, so that we complete Directive 3: one-dimensional travel. Our data suggests that having a large amount of people with AEE induced powers in one place, more AEEs show up. Thus logically, if you wanted to, say, open a door to the other place, you would want as many of these special people in one place. Data also suggests that society such as Earth’s current kind also increases AEE activity. Are you following me? This is why Directives 1 and 2 would make Directive 3 impossible. We know you were never fully briefed on Directives 1 and 2, but we know you know enough to see why this is.”
There was a short pause before Samantha replied.
“But wouldn’t it be better to simply stop them from coming through at all?”
“Maybe in the short run. But in the long run, we would be not only saving this world, but all worlds. And as Martin Luther King Jr. once said, a threat to justice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. So, my comrade, are you on the side of progress or one its many adversaries?!”
They both saluted while Samantha shouted her reply:
“Justice must be served!”

The next day, Lee woke up laying all spread out over the bed. He looked and saw Tamaki wasn't there. He thought she was already up and making breakfast. Then he looked over the edge of the bed and saw Tamaki sleeping next to the bed.

She... Fell out of bed... And it didn't even wake her?

Then the alarm clock went off. It scared Lee who then fell off of the bed too, landing on Tamaki. Tamaki woke up looking Lee straight in the eyes.

Why... Are we laying on the floor like this with you on me?
We fell out of bed. ... ... I'll just get off of you.

Lee got up and turned off the alarm clock. Then Tamaki got up and got dressed. Lee followed with dressing up after Tamaki left the room. Lee thought back at the little incident, thinking he actually had a chance for way more. The fiend inside him moaned at the ideas of Lee he was seeing. Lee annoyed with the fiend interfering, he went downstairs to have breakfast with Tamaki.

I have work today, sooo... I don't know what you are going to do, but I don't think I can take you with me.
What kind of kind of work do you do anyway?

Well, yeah. If it goes on like it has been going the past few days, I might be spending the rest of my life with Tamaki here.

Tamaki blushed a bit, looking away from Lee.

I... I...

She looked back at Lee who had aimed his attention at Tamaki again.

I do the administration for one of the banks in this town.
I see. You indeed can't take me with you to your spot then.
I could show it once... I know how to work my way around the security and even some of the more important people. And I mean without taking off any clothes.

They finished breakfast, cleaned up and left to go to Tamaki's work. While walking on, the cage the fiend was in in Lee disappeared. The fiend stayed inside Lee. Lee didn't notice anything.

While Raziël was stuck in his mind unaware of what was happening in the real world, a portal opened, dragging Raziël in.

"what, an unexpected turn of events this boy has taken, it seems to have fused with him, he seems to be human no longer... we just don't know what may happen.
will he win, orr his other half?

"shall i kill him to be sure?'


"NO!, he still might be usefull... take him there, things will most probably get interesting. hahaha...."

several days later, Raziël woke up, looking around he seemed to be in the real word....

ugh... where am i, it looks familiar.
did i dream, that? i didn't reconise the voice, and it smelled like sulfur, o well...

Raziël seemed to have woken up in an alley, looking in the street, he saw tamaki and lee going out the door.

hmm, i wonder where they're going

After some time, David began to move again. He got up with his face hanging down. He rose his face, smiling maniacally. His left eye glowing scarlet and his teeth being sharper.

Hunger... I must eat... I want food... I... Want... Blood...

He jumped onto Miku and bite her in her neck. Miku screaming in pain, having all her blood slowly sucked out. An aura of insanity was around David. It made Miku go crazy. Not long after, she was dead. David got off of her and gained some sense of what was going on. hot grabbed a shard of ice and stabbed himself with it. it helped him get control back. He looked at what he had done.

And then... There were none. ... ... ... ... ... I'm alone again. It may be better that way.

He was normal again and walked out of the library. Not knowing what he was supposed to be doing, he just walked down the street. All he really wanted was, to know what he was and what his purpose in life is, knowing full well that he was very dangerous with his growing power.


~Tamaki Kousaka and Lee Hodges~
The two were calmly walking. There were a lot of people on the street. It looked like a typical Monday morning. Tamaki looked at the shadows, noticing something was off.

Lee.
yes?
problem. remember that idiot from the first day we met?
Raziël? What about him?
I don't know how, but he just appeared near here, is failing his attempt to follow us and... ... His shadow is different.
Different? How? Please explain.
I don't know. I can't see it now really, but it just feels different. More demonic, in a way.
That is odd. But for now, lets just move on.

Samantha Primrose
The ride back seemed quicker than the ride away, but Samantha wasn’t going to complain. She would finally get to do something instead of just spying on people from a distance. The plane descended down to the airport, and a vehicle was there to bring her back to the Kousaka house. She entered the vehicle and it began heading back to the drop-off point. However, the car stopped sooner than it should. The driver turned around a told Samantha:
“Targets are on the move, right over there. You are to follow them around today until they return home. Then you can go through with the plan.”
Great, more spying on people from a distance. Oh well, only one more day. She exited the vehicle and saw the targets among the crowded streets. She began heading in their direction.

Hey, you know. Maybe we should rap on our way to my work.
Rapping? Seriously? Don't be an idiot.

As they walked on, something shot though the sky in the street they were in. Lee and Tamaki noticed some people becoming slightly panicked. Tamaki again couldn't clearly see what it was that flew over the street. It went way to fast for that. Then a white glow rose from the ground. It was a white line that led straight to the centre of the entire city. From of the centre there were lines like that in all directions, all lines connected to each other. The white lines were harmless now. They disappeared after about a minute. Lee and Tamaki looked at them with a bit of fear. Other people were starting to panic.

Others can see this too?! What is goi-

He had his reason. And he failed to do what I commanded him to do.

The thing that saw flying trough the sky before was now floating high above the street. It looked like a human body. But had lots of cuts in it and most of it's clothes were thorn. It had slightly long hair that covered his right eye. It had two large, steel hexagon shaped plates of 20CM thick floating next to him, and slickly behind him. He pointed at Lee's head. Just seconds after, the fiend that was inside Lee got shot out. The fiends was laying on the ground, missing his left leg. It was bleeding a silver liquid from it's entirely steel body. It was still alive and looked at the demon.

You handle me like this? After I did as much as i could? You told me to act on my position and do whatever it takes to take over this man! So that was what i did! And now you say I failed you while being outnumbered and out-powered!?
It doesn't matter now. I should have never trusted a simple task with a fiend. It is time for all of you... To die!

People looked at the demon. Everyone was able to see it and started to run away in panic. The entire city was starting to become one place of panic and chaos. And it was only starting.

Samantha Primrose
She had only started following the targets when all hell broke loose. The spectacular light show of white lines was unnerving, to say the least. Samantha didn’t know how to react to it. But her attention turned elsewhere, as she noticed… some sort of being, apparently conversing with the targets and some other third entity. Clearly the city was descending into chaos, but she had to keep her eye on the targets. She decided the best course of action would be to find a hidden spot and watch the event unfold. If the people of the city became endangered, she would spring into action. She made sure her communicator was active so she could hear any orders, and jumped to a fire escape on a nearby building. There, she crouched and prepared to observe what would happen next.
